Bridgewater Supports Students
A Committed Partnership
Because daily lessons are online, learning can happen wherever and whenever an Internet connection can be found. However, to ensure that students have a successful school year, parents should oversee the coursework of their students and regularly communicate with the academy's staff to prevent learning gaps and track academic progress.
Grading and Text Messaging
When a student is enrolled in a course, he will be assigned to a class that is supervised by a teacher qualified to teach that subject. Elementary students may have the same teacher for all subjects. Students in upper grades may have multiple instructors. For every subject and grade level, qualified Bridgewater teachers grade student assignments and answer student questions using the built-in message system that is integrated into our online distance learning environment.
Telephone Support
Students and parents also can place toll-free phone calls to academy teachers. These teachers are available on weekdays to provide academic support from 8:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. (CT).
