Student Specific Learning Plans
Every student at Bridgewater benefits from an individualized learning plan that suits his individual needs and desired outcomes. All our courses are engaging and media-rich. To enhance student learning, our online curriculum has interactivity built-in and includes learning exercises, movies, animations, and audio clips.
Immediate student feedback is an integral part of the curriculum. Bridgewater's teachers grade paragraph answers, essays, and projects associated with students' lessons. Online exercises, quizzes, and tests are automatically graded by the online learning management system. Students receive this feedback quickly and consistently. This prompt feedback encourages students and is key to the learning process.
Students have a number of options for communicating with their teachers. While working in lessons, they are able to leave notes and question in a general message box, or make comments directly on problems within a course. Students can also communicate with teachers via email, chat, or on the telephone. Teachers are available on weekdays from 8:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. (CT).
Innovative learning tools delivered in a fully-digital environment, coupled with robust content that is correlated to state standards ensures a quality distance learning experience for Bridgewater students.
